Fall grungy tins

These are some things that I'm working on for Fall. I do alot of mixed media & vintage stuff,and I wanted to incorporate that in my newer products. I poured the candles into grungy tin cans ,whipped my wax for the "icing",and I use several different tart/embed molds for the stuff peeking out at the top. They also look cool in jars,but sometimes I goof them by pouring too hot Wink

This photo is the LED flicker tea light pillars I'm making.
I like these because I can always do something different with them,such as packaging & color.
I still have alot more to do

Very cute. Did you use the cinnamon and glue technique for those?

yes, I used the cinnamon & mod podge on the tins. I mixed both together and brushed on.while still wet, I rolled in a big pan of cinnamon,just to coat it even thicker. I let them dry for a couple days, then brushed off the excess with a dry paint brush. They are fun to make, and I have about 60 cans waiting to be "aged" outside in a washtub.

I made some other ones that I just painted the outsides of the cans and put olde thyme labels on them. nothing fancy, they actually look like they've been around awhile.
